An eye-opening epic on the future of clean energy, by an absolute legend in the space.
Tony Seba is an absolute stud in the field of sustainable economics, and Clean Disruption is his greatest masterpiece yet.
Clean Disruption lays out a comprehensive case on just how much of a no-brainer it is to ditch outdated energy (coal, oil, natural gas, etc.) and transportation (gas-guzzling internal combustion engine) technologies, in favor of renewable energy and electric vehicles. But he doesn’t just rely on hype- he emphasizes the raw facts and economics that show just how incredible this transitional opportunity truly is.
Each chapter tackles a different facet of the status-quo (such as different energy sources we are using today), and explains exactly why it is ripe to be demolished by the upcoming wave of sustainable technology disruption.
Fair warning, this book is not light reading. It’s chock-full of stats and numbers, as you’d expect from a Stanford professor.
About The Author:
Tony Seba he has 20+ years working firsthand in the clean energy industry, and an additional 18+ years experience as a professor at Stanford.
Pretty smart dude.
When he first wrote Clean Disruption in 2014, many called him crazy. 6 years later, he presented an update:
If you’re just skimming, I’ll fill you in: he’s basically nailed all of his predictions so far.
In my opinion, Tony Seba is a perfect prototype of what this world needs more of:
- Extremely smart
- Fantastic public speaker
- Dedicated to spreading the truth on sustainable technology to as many people as possible.
